Responsibilities:

  • Learning Management System Super Admin - Lead role in set-up, content migration, and transition from previous learning platform (PlayerLync) to a new learning management system (Docebo). Responsible for administration, support, design and content publishing on LMS for cross-functional teams including Restaurant Training, Learning & Development, and Ethics & Compliance Training.
    • Restaurant Training Materials - Participates in preparing all training material; audits and/or updates for the quality and effectiveness of company restaurant training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Learning Management System - Responsible for launch, administration, support, design and daily content publishing for Villaggio (Wisetail). Project manager for transition of all training materials from paper to e-learning and video. 

  • Company Rebranding - Formerly known as T-Bird Restaurant Group, the company relocated their corporate office and reinvented itself to be Cerca Trova Restaurant Concepts on April 1, 2016.  Partnered with CEO and CMO to reinvent company branding including new website, business cards, social media accounts, company letterhead, and corporate office interior design. The company has since rebranded itself again to Out West Restaurant Group.

  • Brand Update (Company Newsletter) - Responsible for design and layout. Published monthly and  distributed digitally to restaurants via email and Villaggio (LMS).

  • Annual MP Conference - Conference team member assisting with planning, logistics, and activities on site. Responsible for all creative including registration website, videos, PowerPoint presentations, posters, table tents, luggage tags, name tags, company swag etc.

  • Social Media - Facilitate and maintain social media presence and platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc).

  • Development - Work closely with CEO on concept development and design of  for new concepts. Currently this includes a Food Truck (Angry Crocodile) and Secret Bar (Beekeeper).

  • Marketing - Assist with any marketing initiatives that need to be created quickly including trolley wrap, kids activity menu, lunch specials, cocktail menu, banners, flutter flags, restaurant signs, t-shirts, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Roll-Outs - Worked with Operations team to translate roll-outs and procedures into compelling and effective training courses including written, video, instructor led training and e-learning formats.

  • E-Learning - Designed and developed  e-learning course ware, and published content to the learning management system.  Applied knowledge of e-learning instructional design and adult learning theory to design and developed course content, working collaboratively with subject matter experts, trainers, and others as needed. Coordinated with the Talent Development and Operations team to assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate engaging e-learning solutions across all levels of the organization.

  • Learning Management System - Responsible for administration, support, design and content publishing for BJ’s Compass (Wisetail).

  • Training Materials - Developed and coordinated team member
    training material, ensuring materials aligned with all programs.

    and accuracy of all documents.

  • BJ’s Brewsletter - Responsible for gathering information and images, writing articles, design, and layout of Company newsletter published quarterly. Coordinated distribution to restaurants and posts to BJ’s Compass for all

Responsibilities: Primary Training Department Lead – sole role accountable for supporting all aspects of training.
 

  • Quarterly Specials/Holiday Specials/New Menu Item/Test Item Roll-outs – Responsible for implementation of any new product roll-out including restaurant training timelines, creating and designing training materials, cutting/sorting materials, sending materials to restaurants and posting materials on Intranet. Manage tight deadlines and fluctuating needs of Operations and Marketing.

  • Food Safety Compliance - Primary contact to sign up for courses, process invoices, run reports, track needs.

  • Annual GM Conference (EBAR Days) - Assist with planning and coordinating travel, create logo and sponsor banner, assist with activities on site.

  • Certified Trainers - Provide Train-The-Trainer certificates and host Facebook Training page (currently 229 “friends”). Keep Trainers updated on changes and new items. Answer questions and interact with Trainers.

  • Online Ordering & Distribution - Primary contact for print vendor, approve orders, update training material files for restaurant ordering, order office supplies for department, negotiate price changes and new project pricing.

  • New Restaurant Openings - Supervise and direct team of trainers. Coordinate travel, schedules and daily agendas. Provide new restaurant support as needed

  • Training Videos - Script writing and edits, on hand during filming, primary contact for Director.

Responsibilities: Assisted Director with training and development support for 68 company stores and 28 franchise stores.
 

  • Project Management: Created and implemented training material (food poster, beverage poster, cheat sheet, pre-shift agendas, FOH/BOH quizzes and keys, and beverage recipe cards) for promotional menu items on a quarterly basis.
